Alongside this initiative, and as part of raising its international profile, Digiteo has a guest program. The laboratories have a special ring-fenced budget to allow them to invite top-level scientists from other countries to work as part of their teams for short periods. Each laboratory is free to select and appoint its own researchers, and is required to submit an end-of-programme report. This scheme is another way of expanding scientific cooperation between Digiteo researchers and the big names of international scientific research.
Digiteo is also involved in several European projects. For example, it is a member of EIT ICT Labs project selected by the EIT (European Insitute of Innovation and Technology) aiming at accelerating innovation in Europe, and a partner of FITT (Fostering Interregional Exchange in ICT Technology Transfer), the first European project for improving technology transfer from public research centres dedicated to ICT.
