Digiteo has 12 founding members and associate members (CEA, CNRS, Ecole Centrale Paris, Ecole Polytechnique, ENS Cachan, ENSTA ParisTech, Institut Mines-Telecom, Inria, Mines ParisTech, Supélec, Université Paris-Sud, Université de Versailles-St- Quentin).
The objective of the network is to :
- make the Saclay plateau an internationally recognised place of reference in ICTs, in terms of scientific quality and economic impact ;
- promote skill sharing between the member institutes in ambitious collaborative projects.
One of its tools consists in driving and financing joint research initiatives : research projects, chairs, ’guest’ programmes.
To promote and stimulate the transfer of innovation activities to companies, Digiteo supports research teams in transferring the outcomes of their research in order to achieve real commercialisation : industrial transfer or start-ups.
